...So I thought purple would be nice. I'm planning to repaint my bedroom and I want it to be purple. Which do you all think I am leaning towards? 1)  2)  3)  4)  5)

Color one is the best it. But paint always dries lighter than whats on those cards. I would opt for 3 if you are going for darker. You could always use one of the darker shades for trim.

I like the last one myself, darker the better .
My wife did my bathroom in a med purple , with green accents , looks nice

My bathroom is a light violet color with sage green accents. 
I think the last one would have worked if I had south facing windows in my home. Unfortunately, all my windows face north, so I get just a sliver of sun in the early evening.

If the room is large go with the dark color. If the room is small go with a lighter color. Dark paint shrinks a room. I don't think you want to feel confined.

) feel. But, I stuck the samples on the wall and came to the conclusion that #1 will be the one. It lit better during day and night.
