"The ousted president has suffered a collapse in his morale because he understands the extent of the charges against him and because he's certain that he will stand tribal before an impartial court," Juhi told the London-based Asharq al-Awsat newspaper in an interview published Saturday.
You have GOT to be kidding me! We have spent billions of dollars hunting this tyrant down. We have lost many of our soldiers in the hunt and have killed many innocent civilians and now we're worried about his freakin morale level?!?!
What the hell is wrong with this country!? I think this is the wrong time to be concerned about his emotional welfare, don't you think? I mean, we hunted him down like a dog and found him hiding like one. We killed his family and bombed his homw and raided his stickpile of weapons, treasure and cash. Now we're supposed to feel sorry for him because he knows he's up [Bad Word!] creek without a paddle and he knows he'll get the death penalty.
Isn't this what prison is supposed to do to people? Make them realise the gravity of their crimes? It's like we, as a nation, feel guilty for being so damned powerful. We have the ability to change world events with our might and after we do we feel bad about doing it and try to coddle these war criminals. We gave him a nice cushy cell, got him all cleaned up, gave him a doctor to make him all better, have him a lawyer to try to get him off of the charges (I can't believe THAT!) and gave him 3 meals a day. So what if he gets photohraphed in his undies. He's lucky we don't release him to the Shiites who want to rip him limb from limb with their bare hands.
This man has personally killed and tortured countless people for no reason. And now we are supposed to be even remotely concerned that he isn't feeling chipper and happy today. Poor bastard.
