We`ve just watched the verdict live on tv and just can`t believe it. The poor woman was trying so hard to hold it together, to the point she told her mother to calm down and that it would be alright. So damn sad.
For those of you who don`t know the case, we all believe she has been a victim of interstate drug smugglers who left 4kg of marijuana in her bag in Sydney because there was a cocaine bust going on at the time so they didn`t take the risk of getting their illegal cargo from her bag on the flight from Brisbane.
There is a huge investigation going on into baggage handlers using unwitting travellers` bags to smuggle drugs between states.
I`m angry and sad at the same time.
