I saw the title of this thread and thought it said Google Evil satellite map feature. Why is that, i wonder.

I'm not quite sure why there would be "privacy concerns" about this as they're not live images. If they were, you'd probably see a certain washed up TV host arguing with his wife on his farm.
With all these sat image sites popping up, I might have to meet with my neighbors to see if they'll let me paint their roofs white so it says "You suck" when viewed from a satellite.

In other google news - Google released the enterprise edition of its google desktop search program at http://desktop.google.com/enterpriseWhy the new enterprise features are a big deal for IT administrators: * Centrally control user features and preferences * Encrypt all user data and search index files * Easily deploy using the included installation package * Test new versions before distributing
