Do any of you feed your cats table scraps?
I don't but I do give her tuna whenever I'm making tuna fish sandwiches(which is about twice a year) I'm not real fond of tuna. That was 3 days ago and she is still whining everytime I go to the kitchen. I think she thinks if she keeps crying I'll give in. I'm NOT giving in. These cats are very stubborn.

I would but you should see the pouch shes dragging right now. She gets tons of kitty kandy. ( aquariums and pounce).

I'm nuts. Smokejumper is out of town. Angel is usually only left alone 1 night a week. But since hes gone shes being left 3 in a row. I felt so bad I left the animal planet on the tv for her.

I dont give my cats scraps but Ginger always jumps up on the table and licks our plates when we are done eating. This is only when we eat in the living room. I wouldn't let him jump up on the kitchen table like that.

Angel isn't allowed on the table either. We put the little bit of tuna she gets on a paper plate on the floor. But she doesn't forget she got it and expects it all the time.

Our Wussie is like that too. You give it to her once and that's all she'll want to eat for half the year. She gets irritating with that crap. She acts so anxious and desperate for treats that whenever you stand up she looks at you wide-eyed and runs into the kitchen and waits for her treats.

Angel knows she gets kitty kandy when mommy gets home from work. Besides that I am trying not to give her to many extras. Now that Mystic is gone Angel is getting a belly.

We have three cats all of different temperaments and weights and they all get fed the same stuff. It`s a bit like humans, metabolism can mess with you or just laziness.
We feed our cats treats from our dinner more than feeding them leftover scraps...the big dog takes care of them. Every now and then one of the cats will get too forward but they just get pushed out of the way and they get the message.
Do you give your cat raw cat mince? We find that if they are hungry or just looking for something to eat they will be satisfied after their dinner of mince.
BTW what is kitty kandy?

Kitty Kandy is what we call her treats. Pounce, Aquariyums whatever brand we buy. My youngest started calling it that and we just kept it up. BTW You can't say those two words around here without a meow.

Ok I had to google your brands of treats as I had no idea what they were. Have you checked the fat content on them to make sure they aren`t a lot higher than kibble type treats? We discovered that the fat content is higher on certain types of dog and cat foods and it isn`t great for a younger animal in reasonably good health but our old dog has to have higher fat and protein levels.
Then again you may just have a fussy cat who loves tuna.

The cats get scraps, and so does Missy. Yancey loves mashed potatoes and Missy loves anything.

Our cats just get canned catfood as a treat. In fact we call it TREATS and when we yell that word in a high pitched voice they all come barrel-assing into the kitchen and start singing and dancing for their suppers. If the TV even says the word "treat" Wussie's eyes perk right up.

Thats cute how he listens to the tv.
