I agree. The standard of acting is just excellent and the story is good no matter how many times you watch it.

Yeah, um, I just bought Star Trek: First Contact less than a week ago (for a killer price). The Mole season 1 is still not in and I'm beginning to get a little pissed off at the store. They said a few days, then retracted and said 2 weeks max and now they say they have NO idea

I just copied the new release of Orgazmo. For anyone who is a fan of South Park GET THIS FREAKING MOVIE! It was only available on tape in very limited quantities (Did I just say tities?) and on Showtime. But now it's on DVD with one of the best commentary tracks ever on DVD. Nothing better than listening to Trey Parker and Matt Stone and friends get drunk, doing bong hits and talking about the movie and getting sidetracked and talking about the TV show COPS. Get this movie or PREPA TA METCHYA DOOOOYAM!

Ok I now have The Mole. I will quit complaining and sit down to watch Anderson =) And then the Hotel Room game. And then the Fortress Test. Oh! And the Three Routes Test!

I am still working on the 2 cd set of the 4400 that I recently bought I have a hard time sitting still to watch anything lately since I usally watch stuff on the computer. I may experiment and hook up my dvd player and see if it helps watching it on that instead Besides that, I have yet to watch the firefly series all the way through as well even though I got that at Christmas I am only 1/2 way through cd two on that series and it is a full set of 4 cds for the entire series along with 2 unaired episode that never made it to tv Each episode is like 1 hour each, probably only 45 after commercials are removed and there are like 4 episodes per dvd so that works out to like 16 hours of viewing I have to get through

When you use shrink the first thing it shows you is your main movie on the left and your audio selections on the right. It also tells you how much compression the main movie's video will have if you leave everything as is. You want this as close to 100% as you can get while keeping everything you want to keep.
So what I do is remove the alternate languages because I don't need a spanish or french track. And unless the commentaries are stellar then I don't need those either. Usually I will have just the Dolby Digital or the DTS soundtrack for the main movie.
If removing the unwanted audio still hasn't decreased the amount of compression enough for my tastes then I select the Main Menu folder on the left and change the compression to Custom Ratio and lower it down as far as it can go. Then I do the same thing for the special features. You don't really want to remove any of the audio selections for the menus or features because there's no telling what audio you're removing for what video file.
Usually this will give you a decent level of compression for your main movie file. I try not to go anywhere below 75% but that's just my personal tastes. You will need to play with it some yourself to find out what is acceptable for you but any lower than 75% for me isn't good.
If this is the case then I go into Reauthor mode. This will let you select the video files you want but it will totally remove ALL menu functionality. So I will just select the main movie file alone and the one audio track that I really need. This will usually give you the best compression ratio if all else fails. And let's face it, that's gonna be as good as you're gonna get it unless you wanna pay $10 for one single solitary dual-layered DVD+R.
