I didn`t take offence at all Joseph. I had replied days ago but for some reason I lost the post and stepped away from the computer LOL
Chewie is as mad as a cut snake but she is very vocal and loving and that is all that saves her from being an outpatient with a cat therapist.
The vet thought I was mean when I told her that my cat was a fruitcake and therefore I had no idea how she would react to removing the stitches after being desexed. I know my cat well but I love her anyway.

I like Einstein the best as that look in his eyes remind me of my pet that passed away a few years ago He was so loyal and loved to go with my mom berry picking

There isn`t a person who has ever met Einstein that hasn`t said he is the best dog they have ever met. He is loyal and lovely. Unfortunately he also smells really bad LOL

Our dog was like that in his last years in life as he had cancer and we had to put him to sleep The year before that, mom took him to the vet and spent 300 on him to nurse him back to health and did not want to go through that again when he started to relapse He would not even eat raw liver it got so bad

My first dog Kaiser had cancer too and we had him put down. He was very protective of me and my mother and was a true friend.

Einstein is certainly getting to the age where we have to look at those possibilities. At this point I can honestly say he has smelled bad for years and if we change his diet he will improve for a while and then go right back to resembling a toxic cloud. We spend a lot of money on both good quality dog biscuits and fresh bones and meat for him but the result is always the same. We did figure out with the vet that he has a tendency toward some kind of excema which makes him smell bad but we can`t cure it.
I hate the thought of having to put him down but I think it will come sooner than we realize.

The latest addition to our menagerie. Mark thinks these little cuties had best start providing eggs to pay their way (joking) and I am enjoying them being so cute and little. I haven`t named them yet but I will figure out something that suits their personalities.

This is the latest pic of our chickens. They have grown so much in two weeks it`s almost depressing. They`re losing their down and getting real feathers.
They say curiosity killed the cat but I can tell you I have never seen a cat anymore curious than these two. I`m not sure but I think we may be raising weirdo chickens. Instead of getting out of their pen and scratching in the lawn they decided to come and roost under our table while we were sitting there having coffee. Never seen chickens so friendly before.

The latest pic of my 'cat with attitude', I asked her what she was doing on my kitchen table and this is the response I got.

I'm sorry but everytime I read this thread title I misread menagerie for lingerie.

You know that you have messed with my head for the day don`t you Kristopher?? At first I thought I may come up with some witty reply and when I couldn`t be witty to save my life I strained my brain trying to be.

One very brave chicken checking out Lelu. She was very patient with said chicken and simply got off the chair and sat on the ground.
The pic is a little fuzzy because I was in such a hurry to get it...the chicken moved less than a second after I took the shot.

When you say menagerie like that I immediately think of that french word that sounds somewhat like that I have no idea how to spell it but that is what it conjures up, especially mixed with lingerie
